Michael E. Willard, Founder and Managing Partner

As Managing Partner, Michael is responsible for acquisitions, capital and developing new joint venture relationships.

Michael formed GKH Diversified LP and GKH Limited LP, aka GKH Partners, in 1995 to manage family-owned investment partnerships in several types of real estate and business ventures. Prior to establishing GKH Partners, he founded and operated Michael E. Willard & Associates a Real Estate Investor and Financing Partner.

To date, Michael has successfully acquired, entitled and developed over 1,000,000 square feet of apartment, office, R&D and storage space, as well as over 7,800 residential units in Southern California, Central Texas and Arizona.

Prior to GKH, Michael founded Corporate Benefit Planners, Inc and co-founded Charter West Companies, a pioneer in providing insurance and financial products to small business and high net worth individuals.

Michael was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Southern California where he attended California State University at Fullerton. He is married and has 8 children and 14 grandchildren. He holds a CLU and ChFP designation.
